My Balearic Adventure – Part 2

The second of my beer reviews abroad is the wonderfully hoppy Llop India Pale Ale (5.5% vol) from @beerloversmallorca Based in alcudia, @beerloversmallorca currently have 4 beers on their roster including this IPA and a blat Witbier (look out for another review later). In it appearance, Llop is a deep gold colour that you expect from any IPA accompanied by a traditional firm white foam head that hold very well. Once settled this beer has a very slight hazy appearance to it that is reminiscent of an APA that I brewed myself.

The Llop is a beautifully produced IPA, using Pale Ale, Caraamber and Munich malts combined with fruity and classic hops such as Cascade, Columbus and Chinook, this beer goes all in on the first sip providing a clean sweet maltiness and citrus and floral notes on the back of the palette.

@beerloversmallorca recommend Pairing Llop with any strong spicy food; grilled meat and bold, sweet desserts like carrot cake.

I would strongly recommend anyone that loves beer and is traveling to Mallorca to try this beautiful crafted artisan IPA and any of the other beers in the @beerloversmallorca roster.
